Homes have been described as having six (6) sides: four (4) walls; a roof; and one (1) basement floor. It is common to have moisture in basement, mold, mildew and odor, being in a subterranean setting, sometimes we must create a new environment to thoroughly dry the basement or crawlspace. Some of the biggest complaints homeowners have are damp floors and basement humidity.

Even though moisture is stopped by our Water Trek Aqua Route®, Floor Grate, and Water Grabber® Bulldog systems, dampness can still occur due to the temperature difference between the sub floor, soil, and basic humidity levels of the air. In order to control humidity, we have developed a line of patented basement dehumidifiers and crawl space dehumidifier systems to keep the basement or crawlspace dry and mold-free.

Benefits of a Dehumidifier System

• A dry basement or crawl space for your CT home – guaranteed!
• Stops dangerous mold growth that cause allergic reactions, asthmatic episodes, infections and other respiratory problems
• Gets rid of musty basement odors
• Kills dust mites by lowering humidity levels

Our Revolutionary Dehumidifiers

Our revolutionary new basement dehumidifiers and crawl space dehumidifier systems, the Humid-Evac®, Bon Aire, and Air Mop® 3 deal with humidity and condensation issues by drying under the slab before the moisture enters.

Bon Aire®

The Bon Aire

MAINTENANCE FREE, EASY OPERATION: Simply set the humidistat to your desired humidity level. The Bon Aire Humidex automatically vents humid air to the outside. There are no heavy buckets of water to empty and no filters to change.

ENERGY EFFICIENT: Bon Aire Humidex runs only 31 watts of electricity (approx. $2.00 per month) and plugs into any outlet. Drier air requires less energy to heat in the winter and less energy to cool in the summer, resulting lower year round energy bills.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY: Bon Aire Humidex contains no CFC’s and No Ozone. The fan operates quietly (52 dBA) and there are no contaminated filters to wash or replace. HDS-209 (58 dBA)

LARGE CAPACITY: No need for multiple units. One Bon Aire Humidex will ventilate an area up to 4,000 square footage (basement serviced 1,500 sq. ft.). Yes, one unit will provide fresh air for your entire home! Heavy Duty Model (HDS-209) will do up to 5,500 square feet (basement service 2,100 sq. ft.)

Humidevac

Basements are similar to a cave. Basements are below ground level and are conducive to a damp, wet environment. Independent studies show that up to 80% of moisture in a basement originates from under the floor, and if the source of the dampness is addressed, 80% of the problem is eliminated.

Drafting the air under the slab dehumidifies your basement in a far superior manner than any current method on the market. After years of research and development, Humid-Evac™ is designed exclusively to dry the basement floor and environment.

Psychometry – the engineering science of drying a structure. In order to achieve a psychometric solution, four things need to be addressed:

1. Air Drying – removing damp air 2. Moisture on Surfaces 3. Air Movement – sub-slab and above slab 4. Temperature of the Air – take the cool damp air from the sub-slab and heat it by replacing with warmer air

The Humid-Evac™ system addresses all of the above and cures most, if not all, dampness problems.
