Homeowner Weather Alert

Red Cross Survival Kit

Plan & Prepare

Wind, rain, snow and a sudden power outage can be frustrating, troublesome, and even dangerous, especially if it lasts a while. These are steps you can take, approved by the Red Cross, to minimize food loss, and keep your family safe and as comfortable as possible while the powers out.

Be Red Cross Ready

Plan and prepare your home and family. Emergencies and potential disasters can strike suddenly, at any time and anywhere. There are 3 actions you can take that can help make a difference.

  • At least one member of my household is trained in first aid and CPR/AED.
  • I have taken action to help my community prepare.
